Ritz Carlton Krabi to open December 2009

The Ritz Carlton Hotel Group announced that they will open the Phulay Bay Ritz Carton Reserve in Krabi on December 22nd 2009.

The positive news for Thailand is that adding one of the world’s leading luxury hotel brands to Thailand’s portfolio will increase the both marketing and image of the Andaman Coast as a high end destination.

The Phulay Bay is owned by the PB Partner Group who according to the Bangkok Post on October 21, 2009 have invested three billion baht to develop the hotel with 54 pool villas and pavilions from 95 square metres. There are 5 villa types – Royal, Reserve, Beach, Ocean Pavilion and Resort Pavilion with indoor space ranging from 50 to 120 square metres and outdoor space from 41 to 458 square metres. Resort Pavilion: 34,013 baht
Ocean Pavilion: 35,714 baht
Beach Villa: 41,666 baht
Reserve Villa: 58,673 baht
Royal Villa: 68,267 baht
